Welcome back fans and family of the Seacoast Junior Football League. We have quite the news for you this week! Straight from the head of the league, the chairman, Boyd Morrison.
Good day, all: The Varsity Division Championship was played on a clear, cold Saturday night at Dover High School’s Dunaway Field. After a scoreless first half characterized by big offensive plays and tough defensive stands, each team scored a touchdown in the third quarter and entered the fourth quarter tied 6-6. Dover used it’s running game to score the go-ahead touchdown with just over four minutes left in the game. Behind 12-6, Timberlane took to the air but Dover’s defense held for a well-earned championship.
